The Witcher 3 4K PS4 Pro is coming soon!

With CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt being one of the more technologically impressive games available on the PlayStation 4 due to vast open-world, and lush visuals, PS4 Pro owners have long wished for a proper The Witcher 3 4K PS4 Pro support to be able to experience the game at its best.

Well, we're now getting that! During the company's half-year 2017 presentation, CD Projekt boss Adam Kicinski said that the 4K support patch for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will be available in "just a few days."

"We've prepared a 4K version which will be available on PlayStation Pro in just a few days and by the end of the year it will be available on Xbox One X."

Now, before anyone gets too excited, CD Projekt RED has since pulled back on that "few days" bit. Senior PR Manager Radek Adam Grabowski told Eurogamer the following:

"More details about them, including the exact moment when they will be released, are something we are going to announce when the right time comes."

In other The Witcher 3 news, CD Projekt RED has released a video thanking fans for The Witcher's 10th year anniversary.

Probably 1440p upscaled to 2160p or checkerboard, but I look forward towards seeing the improvements.

I don't give a crap about 4K tbh. I would like a Pro patch instead that improved performance or added visual effects, as a 1080P owner. Hopefully that's included in some capacity with the patch ~ W3 for as long of a game as it is, is easily replay able and this would be the perfect excuse for me.
