Funny how he is OK taxing individual immigrants who are already poor but not wealthy coporations that have $2.6 trillion overseas. At a 35% corporate tax rate, that's $910 billion in tax revenue we are actually supposed to have but don't. He could build 20+ walls with that money but, you know, he'd rather piss off immigrants than his rich buddies and himself/family. |
So are you for protectionist policies or not? Because those tax havens are created by two things (super lax trade and complex tax code that allows for so many loopholes) and both have had pretty bipartisan support.

Absolutely zero. Trump made promises he knew he couldn't keep and now he's just trying to make a good show of it so he doesn't lose their support (all 27% of it).
2020 can't come soon enough.
Im latino, and i respect the idea of taking a close look of your own frontiers and who you let in.
But the whole "We are going to build a wall, and YOU are going to pay for it" is fucking hilarious.
Trump is cray cray for sure.
One of the few ways Trump could get Meixco to pay. I still think; forget the cost of building it, it's the cost of maintaining it (Trumps presidentcy and beyond) that will bankrupt American.
Could possibly the largest white elephant ever built.
