Yes it is.

I hope we can get a return of Killer Wail, Ink Strike, and Kraken.

Also, a return of the lobby minigames.

A lot of people are saying they need to nerf Tri-Sloshers. Damn. I co-mained them with the Ink/Octobrush and N-Zap weapons. Anyway, Manta Maria is fucking awesome. One of my gripes with Splatoon 1 was they had such creative stage names like "Museum D'Alfronsino" (?) and I was never engrossed or resonating with that premise. This is clearly a ship stage. I hope Nintendo stay loyal to the stage theme design-wise from now on.

If I'm not mistaken, the update is up now, so we should learn just in a few more minutes if the Tri-Slosher received its nerf.

EDIT: Just checked the patch notes and it seems like nothing happened with the sloshers. Cheeky bastards.

And yeah, the new map is awesome, and so is the newest special weapon.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
