Forums - General Discussion - Best and worst times of your life

Best times: 2004, when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade. Sophomore year of high school. My first two years of college, and right now.

Worst times: When my family moved to Arizona in 2007. When my mom deserted us. And my senior year of high school when I was trying to figure out what happens after high school, and what I wanted to do in life. The latter was probably the scariest time of my life, definitely a period where I was dealing with serious anxiety.

Even though I'm 99% sure that the original comment was ironic, you shouldn't tell people how to feel.

Hmm, I'm not well enough versed in Ultraology myself to determine what he said was ironic or not.

I was talking about the comment that "Everyday is the worst day of my life." from Shroom. I just realized that the reply broke the thread chain, lol.

The study of Ultrashroomz. It's a very curious subject, which some have delved into, but none have mastered.

Bruh ... it's sad that i'm so tired I had to look up what Ultrashroomz was ...

... i'm just gonna ... lol

Worst: 2010 when i came back to Mexico from the US after finishimg my career, to find out that a new "requirement" passed along that made my pilot license invalid until further notice...eventually after 1 1/2 year of courses and exams I got my mexican license.

Best: from 2012 till today, when i finally got my dream job, and every year just keeps getting better; this year being my first as Captain and having everything just right as it should be in my daily life. Life's good

My worst was in my early twenties when I was suffering from depression. Though it could also be my entire school life from 4th to 10th grade. Though it's weird to call it bad when it resulted in my best time of my life, which is right now.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Irony is just a way of hiding true feelings though, isn't it? I feel like it always is, to some extent at least.

Also, I don't like to see people feeling bad about themselves, and sorry if it annoys you, but I do consider myself in the right to try to make them feel better in said situation, even though admittedly I'm not the best at doing that.

That's just a guessing game.

I don't really see how saying "oh stop it. everything's fine" is helping anyone or "trying to make them feel better" lol

Best ----> Vacations to Africa and South Korea
Worst --> When my Father died
