Nope. Souls series games are games sunken in grit and exhaustion, it is obvious in everything - from the environment to the movements of the character and enemies. The whole thing feels a lot off from anything you'd expect from Zelda.

...then again, I could be completely wrong. We got a Zelda musou after all.

I'd love it.

Yeah, but I would make it a Hyrule soldier in the timeline of the great war of Hyrule as told by LTTP. Not saying the game needs to be canon but we have yet to see that in the series and many were hoping Hyrule Warriors would be that game but it wasn't.

Nice suggestion! It would use the already existing story and lore.

It could absolutely work and I would absolutely love it.
The same characters we know and love in a gritty, dark setting fighting grostesque and detailed gothic-themed monsters and high difficulty? Loveit.

I would greatly prefer a metroid X souls style game

Call it "Lorule: Dark World" and fill it with lore from the Zelda series. Though, maybe not as twisted as Bloodborne or some of DS'. Create your own protagonist would be a plus for all those folks who want a girl Link.

I met mudou games because of hw. Now I'm looking forward new music games. And seems that many Zelda fans too.
It can be great to attract souls gamers to Nintendo consoles.

Bloodborne really thrived on its rather specific gameplay and it's lovecraft world with horrifying enemies and the near perfect atmosphere and music. So unless you want a really horrifying Zelda I guess not the best combo. Way more intresting for Metroid Prime.

As for Dark Souls which is closer to Zelda maybe. Building your silent protagonist the same way as a Dark Souls character and making gameplay really unforgiving might work. But the enemies should be less horrifying and it needs more exploration than any Dark.Souls game. I think a Souls like temple/dungeon would be best. Should be the hardest and darkest dungeon of the game with unique enemies which doesn't make use of any gimmicks and finishing this dungeon is only possible by being good with a sword and shield.

I very much agree with this. It very much comes down to each person's tastes for the Zelda series, overall.

That and it would be better for Metroid, at least artistically. It would be a massive change oif pace for the franchise gamplay-wise, as Metroid games are usually about moving quickly and really getting noticably stronger as you progress through the games. I think in this kind of cross-over, you'd always be getting rekt by even smaller enemies.

Dark Souls games are already "Zelda games", just way more criptic and difficult and with rpg elements.
