Building your silent protagonist the same way as a Dark Souls character and making gameplay really unforgiving might work. But the enemies should be less horrifying and it needs more exploration than any Dark.Souls game. I think a Souls like temple/dungeon would be best. Should be the hardest and darkest dungeon of the game with unique enemies which doesn't make use of any gimmicks and finishing this dungeon is only possible by being good with a sword and shield. |
I very much agree with this. It very much comes down to each person's tastes for the Zelda series, overall.
That and it would be better for Metroid, at least artistically. It would be a massive change oif pace for the franchise gamplay-wise, as Metroid games are usually about moving quickly and really getting noticably stronger as you progress through the games. I think in this kind of cross-over, you'd always be getting rekt by even smaller enemies.
