Not for inking. The best for actually scoring points is the Aerospray.

Ahhh Aerospray the noob-cannon. For players in turf war with 1200+ points and 0 kills on the losing team. Or the most useless players in tower controll and rainmaker.

I get 7-10 kills and 1,200-1,400 points a game. If you know how to use it, it's the deadliest gun in the game by far.

@Mr Dolphin. I don't like the ink armour, in fact I nicknamed it the chocolate fireguard, it's about as useful. That's the beauty of Splatoon though, we all have our own unique set ups for diverse styles of play.

You might be able to do that but most of my encounters with them is as I described. Those players can't hold territory for shit.

they decided to buff up the Slosher moving from Splatoon to Splatoon 2, but my god it is a living nightmare now. Both it and the variations of the Octobrush are the most overpowered weapons Ive ever had to deal with. The Slosher's design now makes it perfect for any vertical attacks. If youre below them, they win, and if youre above them, they also win. then with the Octobrush, it doesnt matter which angle you come from or which weapon you choose. If you go close range with someone using an Octobrush, its a guarantee you will be splatted.

I have no qualms with you not liking it, but you said Ink Armor is ineffective and useless, and that is simply false.

This misconception continues to spread! The only buff the Tri-Slosher may have gotten is it's ink spread. The Octobrush actually did get buffed with higher and more consistent damage n ink spread, though this doesn't change much, it was always excellent at close range combat. I think it's probably just Splatoon 2's maps so far being smaller with much uneven terrain and many walls n obstacles which favors these types of weapons.

It's useless enough to make me change from my preferred weapon :)

I was using both of those weapons and maybe winning 40-50% of the time with around 10-15 kills in ranked.  I switched to the octobrush and now I'm winning 90+% of the time with 20+ kills a game.

I vote Nintendo doesn't nerf those weapons so i can continue to obliterate them with my octobrush lol.
