Teased during Persona Super Live, Coming to Nintendo 3DS.

That is fine and all, but where are the mainline persona installments? It seems a bit strange they are asking to buy a crossover of games from a franchise that's never been on a Nintendo console before.

Well, we're obviously getting Persona 5 characters, but I wonder if we're going to get anything else.

Most likely.The whole point of the Persona Q was the crossover.I expect at the very least P4 here, with P3 very likely.

Eh, I think they might of waited a year or two too late to put this on 3DS, by the time this comes out it will be potentially 2018 and while I still expect 3DS to decent and get decent support in 2018. I expect at least in the west sales to be down for software and hardware by a good bit, and at least starting to decline in Japan as the Switch becomes more available.

I don't think it will sell to its full potential unfortunately because of that, and as someone as said, it does seem strange they're putting crossovers of franchise on a Nintendo console when a mainline game has never got one. I'm pretty sure that's potentially hurting sales. If Nintendo fans were familiar with an actual Persona game they might be more inclined to buy a crossover of it.

Considering Persona Q is just a reskined Etrian Odyssey, we won't see it there until Atlus brings an EO game to the Switch.

Why not, you know, port Persona 5 to the Switch instead ?

I can say nothing but "alrighty". I have not played the original or any EO game.
Any good? What is EO good for?

That would be smart, it could even encourage people who own the Switch to pick this up for 3DS, as the crossover will likely be of the Persona 5 cast.
