Switch to get its first Resident Evil games.

Both Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: Revelations 2 are coming to Switch in late 2017, Capcom announced.

At retail across North America you will find these two games as a combo pack dubbed Resident Evil Revelations Collection, which includes one cartridge with Revelations as well as a digital download voucher for Revelations 2 for $39.99. Both games will be available as individual digital downloads at $19.99 each.

Further details about the Switch release were not announced. Resident Evil: Revelations first launched for 3DS, followed by PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC, and will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 29. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 launched simultaneously on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, followed by PS Vita.

This would be a nice game to own on the switch, I think. Count me in

Would this make Resident Evil the first horror game on the Switch? Hopefully, this does decent and more horror games come to the Switch.
The Switch will already have more Resident Evil titles in its first year, than the Wii U ever had in its lifetime.

YES YES YES YES!!

HOLY SHIT! I WANT THIS! Finally a great 3rd party game - and one I wanted!

Although I never heard much hype around revelations 2, hope it was received well.

These will be my first Resident Evil games.

revelations 2 was on every platform you could name except the wii u. they didnt care. hmmm i wonder why they now bring it to the switch. switch owners should not buy this game.

Why shouldn't Switch owner buy this game? Because it didn't release on the Wii U? Which, theoretically gives people who owned the Wii U more reason to buy Resident Evil: Revelations 1&2 because chances are they missed out on this game. It has been confirmed that all the DLC is also included.

Why shouldn't people buy it?

Good to know it's gonna be out on PS4, actually.

Hmmm might pick this up, Revelations 2 was alright on X1 and never played the first one.

The second one had a weird marketing scheme because of it's episodic release. It didn't do to well because of the lack of marketing and I guess people didn't have much faith after RE6? But I blame the marketing. Revelations 2 is tied for being my favorite game in the series tied with RE4. I'm known for being a pretty hardcore RE fan. The story is one of the most important in the series and it actually ties into the first Revelations, RE5 (In a HUGE WAY), and ends with a RE6 cliff hanger. The game is absolutely amazing. The story is the best yet and the villain is insanely good.

One of the pitfalls of the game was the story co-op could NOT be played online or even with multiple consoles, only on split screen. If Capcom fixes this on the Switch by letting people play on their own Switches then this game will be one hell of an amazing experience. I really liked how the co-op is done in this game. One player plays as a character with guns, and the others as a support character and they need to coordinate together for puzzles and stuff. Natalia, the little girl can only point at stuff and throw bricks and stuff :P She's so adorable and a complete bad ass!
