Eh, i was underwhelmed. Same enemies and they are all bullet sponges. Gameplay hasn't changed in the least and the new supers/ultimate are also bleh. I will hold off, get the definitive edition with all DLC next year. It feels like an expansion pack, it just doesnt change anything. but hey hunter's get a slight-dodge every 20-30 seconds, OH BOY!

Admittedly only played the campaign as multiplayer wasn't a draw for me here, but man for a plot that is meant to be epic sci-fi it sure was boring.

It was good, although very brief compared to the first games beta. I played the first game a lot... probably somewhere between 500-1000 hours in he first game. It seems like bungle is actually trying to put a story in this time, which is good. Graphics are a bit better, but overall it still feels a lot like the first game. So if you didn't like the first game for whatever reason, I don't think destiny 2 is going to change many minds...

I agree with this.  I'm excited about Destiny 2, because I really like Destiny.  But, it does feel basically the same as the first game.  I'm ready for more Destiny though, so I'm fine with it feeling similar.

I put about 400 hours into the first game through the first 14 months or so.  I've put 75-100 hours in since.

Destiny 1 had a great beta. Destiny 2 has a demo that they call a beta. It was ok but after the mission and the strike I'm finished with it.

It was more of the same. If this is representative of the final product (and it will be), I won't be getting it. I mean, adding the story to the game was a nice change, but the dialogue feels way too clunky and awkward. Cayde-6 being the exception to the case, the rest are just bland and predictable. Gameplay felt more of the same, and I was tired of it after 20 minutes. The new system was confusing, as I somehow figured out I had 2 different superpowers, and there was no way to know how to switch such powers. For example, I chose the Titan and I noticed I had two different powers: a forcefield and enemy shield bashing. I don't know how to change them, there was no tutorial on how to do it and the options didn't explain how to do so.

I don't care for the competitive aspect of the game. I only want to know if the strikes are going to be any better, or if they'll just have bullet sponges like the last time.

Overall, I think I'm gonna skip this. They're gonna leave us with the vanilla game for a year and a half only to bring in the good stuff.

I really liked the first Destiny. Ignoring the lackluster story, the fact the loot was kinda boring. The strikes were fun and I enjoyed what I played of the PvP.

The original Beta for it was great, it showed customisation, leveling, a bit of story, PvP, Strikes, the world first world map, you got to explore.

This Beta? was pathetic in comparison. You are already leveled up, the guns are the same. No customisation.

4v4 MP? what happened to 6v6? It made it slow and boring.

The strike... why did they put one in where you could die from dropping? so many deaths from people dropping.

The guns... what happened? The specials are now heavy and ammo is very limited. Specials are now like elementals instead.

And your abilities, grenades recharge every hour and if you are lucky (and I mean real lucky) you might get a Super once every PvP.... and I mean lucky.

They've changed a lot and not for the best. If the beta is anything to go by, I think they'll lose a lot of players. Or it will end up that players of the first will go back to the first.

Hmm, pie.

Overall, it felt like an expansion of the first Destiny instead of a sequel. The graphics were great but everything else felt the same.

This is just a beta, of course, so I hope the final product will deliver.
