wut?? this thread makes no sense. Obviously Zelda is the main system seller so far. Though with Splatoon about to come out that is now the main system seller in Japan. And umm, Zelda is the only game people are getting the Switch for?? Are you kidding me? First of all there's Mario Kart which will outdo Zelda in sales, Splatoon is about to come out which is huge, and of course people are buying a Switch also because the system is just awesome and for its future games, as every person buys any console for.

I just want to point out that Zelda is no longer the only big game of the Switch.It was during March and April, but at this point we also have Mario Kart, ARMS and Splatoon 2(its close enough to claim this), so your point is half right.

But yeah, Zelda sales are incredibles.

People are NOT buying Switch exclusively for Zelda. They're buying it to have Nintendo's new platform, and buying it right now because they want to play Zelda on it right now, but many have bought Mario Kart too. Many have bought other games.

The fact that BOTW is on the Wii U already blows a massive hole in your theory.

I think there is a bigger pheomenon. the game at one stage a trakcign higher than the console sales. 

Mainly cause people like me bought the limited editio with the sword statue and yet to buy the console lol.

Up to now it's the best selling handheld game and the best selling home console game. If you combine their sales it could go on to beat CoD and FIFA.

So true. All switch sales in reality should be doubled for accuracy.
