Very bold claim.

Lets get those current gen Capcom games then, I want Resident Evil 2/3/7, Monster Hunter World, Devil May Cry 5

I don't really think it's that bold.  There's nothing that I see on the PS4 that I look at (with my admittedly non-tech savvy eyes) and think that it couldn't be done on the PS3.  It's really just a matter of how much effort they want to put in, and how much compromise is acceptable.  Most of the jump from PS3 to PS4 came in the form of the finer details (lighting shadows etc.) so if you're willing to lose that stuff, I don't see why porting to a system between PS3 and 4 in power should be a huge hurdle.

I can see most games being able to be converted but the games I'm not sure about would be a small selection of top tier like Cyberpunk 2077 for example which I hear the other current gen are having issues running, if they just mean most then I agree with them however all is kind of bold but who knows TW3 runs well and few games are as demanding as it, their counterparts Saber after all did say some unexpected titles are already on the way.

Monster Hunter World is impossible. A port would break the contract.

Too bad. One of my biggest surprises about current NS support is the lack of a new Monster Hunter title on it. I thoght it would a matter of time at first, but i'm not sure anymore at this point.

Games Radar says the latest Metroid Prime trilogy rumor is the original trilogy will be on Switch in June, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

The only way I can possibly see this happening is if it's a straight port of the Wii version and is a digital-only release.

Same here, there is no way they would have less than a month from announcement to release if it was a remaster at retail.

Despite having less raw power, Switch is close enough in performance that I'm sure just about anything on PS4/Xbone could be converted to it; with significant cutbacks in graphics perhaps, but in a recognizable and content complete state.

As I understand it, the biggest gap is in bandwidth and GPU throughput; this can be addressed through lower resolutions and reducing things like shadows, textures, ambient occlusion, polygon count, alpha effects, etc.

RAM wise we're looking at 3.2GB for games vs 5/5.5GB; a manageable disparity that can be solved by compressing or downgrading assets and optimizing data management.

CPU wise, not much of a hurdle; PS4/Xbone have twice as many cores at a higher clockspeed but their Jaguar cores are pretty rubbish even by 2013 standards so Switch's ARM A57 should be able to keep close enough pace that the gap can be close by optimization and tricks like reducing animation frames at a distance or bone LODs.
