Yooka-Laylee now entering testing on Switch & should have final date shortly after

Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Yooka-Laylee now entering testing on Switch & should have final date shortly after

Playtonic offered up a new status update on the Switch version of Yooka-Laylee today. The 3D platformer is entering testing, and once that’s complete, a release date should be announced “shortly after”. We’re hoping that launch isn’t too far off.

Here’s the official tweet from Playtonic:

At this point I just want it to release so I don't feel like I was scammed out of my Kickstarter pledge, I barely have any interest in playing it anymore.

I feel the same, which is a shame really :'(

Though with the update it could be a better game. Will wait for the reviews.

About time.

Gameplay > Graphics

Substance > Style

Art Direction > Realism

This game is underrated, hope people on Switch enjoy it.

I'm not in a hurry cause I'll only get a Switch this holiday, but I can't see why people are losing interest. :c

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

We actually have a physical copy for the PS4 at work haha. I wasn't even sure if the game had released.

What a bunch of whiners. I loved the game when it came out and can wait to play it with the big update. The turnaround time for this Switch port is actually incredibly fast and will be picking up a copy at Switch launch as well. This game will be the same fun game that was released a couple months ago and it's not like it has bleeding edge graphics or a complicated story that'll be spoiled. I find it hard to believe you even wanted the game in the first place if your letting a port delay to a newly released game system turn you off. Everyone is just impatient and have a "I'm important and I need it now!" mentality.

FootballFan - "GT has never been bigger than Halo. Now do a comparison between the two attach ratios and watch GT get stomped by Halo. Reach will sell 5 million more than GT5. Quote me on it."

I had crazy hype levels before its release, played it on pc, its okay.

Yeah been saying that all month...... kinda losing interest now. Is it a physical release or digital only?
