Switch is doing much better than Wii U, but Zelda is a more popular franchise than Fire Emblem.
Hyrule Warriors sold 1.24 Million on Wii U according to VGChartz. Do you think Fire Emblem Warriors on Switch can top that?

This will be interesting!
For now I would say No...... and just because as you said Zelda > FE
Pocky Lover Boy!
Yes but not by a ton. It's going to do better because it's on much better selling system but at the end of the day it's a warriors game it's not exactly the next Mario
No. Hyrule Warriors is one of the best selling Warriors games. Plus, Zelda is way bigger than Fire Emblem. I think it will eventually reach 1m, but it will take a long time.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
The Warrior franchise already isn't THAT popular. Adding Zelda to the formula definitely had an effect on the sales of HW. Fire Emblem, while a top Nintendo franchise isn't near Zelda's fanbase. Switch might be doing better but Fire Emblem fans are going to be the bulk supporting the game. But if the FE fanbase is more loyal than the Zelda fanbase then it just might match or surpass HW. But I have my money on HW.
While FE has seen a revival as of late, it's still not as popular as other series, and doesn't come so close to Zelda either, so I'm expecting this one to sell less than HW. Maybe it'll still do relatively well though.
Dance my pretties!

It definitely could, because like everyone else is saying it's on a more popular system. When Hyrule Warriors released, though, for a lot of us it was a breath of fresh air. Nintendo home consoles never got musou games, and the Zelda aesthetic gave it more immediacy to a Wii U base that was starved for...a lot of things, really, but anything Nintendo that wasn't a party game or remake. That helped the attach rate.
Fire Emblem seems to be on a hot streak so maybe it can catch on. There's gotta be Switch owners who never heard of Hyrule Warriors and thus will look at this as a fresh experience.
If we just look at physical I'm saying it won't. Hopefully can break 1m though
I am more interested in Dragon Quest Heros 2 for Switch than Fire Emblem. I may pick it up, but I am playing the crap out of HW as we speak. It is possible, but I think the favor goes to HW.
Another thing to remember is FEW is releasing next to Mario and Xenoblade 2. While FEW will sell decent for a warriors game, I feel the sales will be front loaded here and it is already hit with competition out of the gate.
