Really? I never saw that. Its crazy, bro how much he resembles nathan drake in his acting in this movie. He even had his comedic wit.

I'd not want him to play Drake because it would kill the audience for the film. The Mummy is a mindless horror film like the other Mummy films. But people went to see Brendan Fraser in droves and shunned Cruise because he's Tom Cruise. The Scientology think has killed the Tom Cruise fan base.

In this movie, does his character has the same or similar personality as the character, Nathan Drake? Personally, I don't know if Cruise could pull off that character but he's been playing a lot of uptight characters in films so that could be influencing my opinion of him. Nathan is a very charismatic thief. I never got that uptight vibe from him. Also, Cruise is starting to up there in the years.

Yep. He was most definitely drake. This isnt the first time Tom Cruise has surprised people by playing in different roles from what were used to. He played a military guy who was a thief and was fairly charismatic. The jokes and situational humor came straight from Uncharted. He even pulled off his bit of selfishness that he sometimes shows from time to time that gets him in trouble with elena. Not to mention theres a blonde who is like elena in this movie too.

WOW, yes you are completely right. In looks, yes he is Drake 100%  
Now Tom Cruise should be getting a very good training to gain humour and also training to being able to show natural emotions. (only one movie, where I think he was perfect was Collateral as he was a hittman and they need to be someway without real emotions ) When he has succesfully had those trainings, he is the perfect match for Drake!

But Tom Cruise always puts his all into movies and they usually turn out decent.

Will see it on my vacation maybe.

Really is he so good in The Mummy? Maybe I will go to the movie just to be convinced he is the right person to play Drake!
