Did any of you happen to watch the tournament? That game is about as intense to watch as any I've seen, and the biggest surprise was that the Japanese team didn't actually win. I honestly assumed they'd sweep their way to the trophy, which they did through the first two rounds before coming up short in the final series.

This is certainly one of the rare games, alongside Starcraft, that I enjoy watching. I'm still stressed out a few minutes after it ended lol

Yeah I feared the Japanese would go undefeated without much drama, but the USA team not only looked much better from when they lost two games in round robin, but honestly looked completely superior... the only match the Japanese team won in the 4-1 series was one in which they'd been losing up until the very last second and pulled out a miracle. Not sure why the final series was so different from the earlier matches.

I was very surprised, to say the least... I've always enjoyed cheering for Western teams in games like this as, generally, they get absolutely annihilated lol, so it was nice to see one actually perform well. I suppose if there's one area they do well in, though, it's shooters.

Otherwise, I envy how popular this is in Japan after seeing the tournaments they have for it there; this is a very fun game to watch, the players are incredible, and best of all the matches are short and sweet.

S+ rank ain't 90% Japanese for no reason! Also, while I did start seeing it a lot more in normal play, I haven't kept up with tournaments, so it was cool to see these pro players using the slosher and showing that it is just as viable as any shooter type! Makes me feel a lot better about it's kit despite no burst bombs.

"US.White" player won 80% f all figths on 1v1 to that guy Dynamou from the japanese team, impressive considering Dynamou was Op all the tournamet.

Really, from the Japanese team it was Atobaru that at times single handedly kept them in it. He was crazy good up close.
