Let's not forget that the first five months of 2017 were crazy. I'm sure several of us are still backed up by at least a couple of games. I can fully see why so many PS4s sold, especially with a megaton like Horizon dropping at the end of February.

Insanity. Us playstation players are playing so many awesome games. If we had more spare time we'd buy even more. 

Crazy sales. And with all the big third party deals along with GT Sport this year they will not be slowing down. And next spring they'll have another equivelent (possibly bigger) of Horizon. And that's god of war. 

They'll deny it right up to the day it happens. 

It will pass the NES when Sony gives its shipment update for the quarter ending  June 30th. I'm guessing 62.5 million or so shipped by the end of June. It will pass the 3DS by the end of December, with a small chance of the inevitable being delayed until the end of March.

Those are really good 2017 sales so far. And to think there are huge games like gow, tlou2, new gran turismo, kingdom hearts, etc that have yet to release. I'll admit at some point I thought ps4 wouldn't get past 100M but now if it doesn't I'm gonna kms
