Nah, GTA would just laugh and that would be that

Yeah nothing on Playstation kills anything with attach ratio. Gta as you say is the closest.  on ps3 it was probably around 25% attach ratio.

The thing is with Playstation, it's software sales are spread out over a massive array of titles.  A huge and varied taste in it's install base.  One single title is never going to have a crazy attach ratio no matter how good it is.

And thing with Nintendo hardware is that people are buying Nintendo consoles on 1st place to play Nintendo games, that's why Nintendo games have such high attach rate and that's why 3rd party games usually doesn't have good sales compared to Playstation or MS.

That's my point.  People buy Playstations for a much bigger array of games.  Both third party and first party.  As a result sales are spread out over more titles.

Looking forward to seeing MK8D sales, and the first signs of sales from ARMS.

Yes, most people buy PS4 or XB1 for 3rd party games on 1st place, but people buying Switch because of Zelda BotW, MK8D, ARMS, Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey... So its not point that Switch (or any other Nintendo console) doesn't have games so people are buying Nintendo games, Wii for instance had huge number of games, but top 15 most selling Wii games are all Nintendo games.

And suddenly PS4 is uderrated in US and Japan that previous weeks was above 80k and 30k each, and now is -40k in US and -10k Japan? or ps4 is out of stock?

Im very happy about NS if contnue like that we have a hope that we see portable gaming rising again and the problem is not the smart phones

About the what people buy on consoles the history has show that gamers buy the PS for the exclusives too. I think Sony belives that and if has the 3rd party that looking better that is a huge plus to dominate the market

Most people buying PS4 and XB1 for 3rd party games on 1st place (GTA, CoD, Fifa, NBA...), and seals of games proves that, just look at list of best selling PS4 or XB1 games, in top 10 best selling games for PS4 and XB1 you have one 1st party game and 9 3rd party games.

I never said most buy it for first party I said a lot buy it for both.  The likes of uncharted,  the last of us,  Gran Turismo,  God of war,  horizon,  Spiderman etc are already or will be big software sellers plus many more that have sold in their millions.

It's obvious that Playstations are bought en masse for both first and third party.

Some people buying it for 1st party some for bouth, but most buying it for 3rd party games and sales of games proves that.
