That may be the case, in any scenario MH5 is coming to Switch.

There is not any reason to doubt that MH5 is coming to Switch, 3DS will soon keep failing in Japan also, while Switch is on rise and it will be without any doubt easily strongest platform in Japan.

3DS in Japan currently also has sold an equivalent to a third of total PS4 sales right now as well. The Switch dynamic is interesting as the portable element ironically makes Japan a more relevant region for console like games again especially for eastern developers.

Lol, Japan is still one of the biggest markets out there... Japanese stuff is also incredibly popular in North America. Japanese was the most requested language ever on Duolingo and the status on Facebook that added Japanese to Duolingo is the most liked status on their page.
