The first gAmerican ran native 1080p on XB1 so I expect the same and 4k on Scorpio .

First one was less demanding and had some fps drops that PS4 version didn't.

There's been like 10 games in 900p this year on Xbox One, so don't expect 1080p in Destiny 2.

Digital Foundry's analysis said its the same engine with tweaks that make it possible for them to create content faster unlike the first one and they made some adjustments to the lighting.  The engine is already capable of running the game 1080p on XB1 so I don't see why Destiny 2 will be any different.

Just don't be dissapointed if it isn't.

Destiny was a cross-gen game.

Even COD games have dynamic 900p resolution on Xbox One now a days, with PS4 have dynamic 1080p.

Destiny 1 was a cross gen game but the graphics are still the same overal so if its not 1080p its just Bungie being lazy because it wouldnt make sense for a game that looks the same running on the same engine to go from 1080p to 900p

=

i am shocked.

Expected since all other games aren't running 60fps on Pro vs 30fps on standard PS4.

PS4 Pro+ coming?

It would be interesting to see if Scorpio will have 60FPS. But I really don't see how they implement 60FPS for one console without making it massively unfair for the playerbase playing on the weaker version of that console at 30FPS. That would be a technical nightmare for multiplayer.

True. Dark Souls III is a recent example. Pro update enables ~45fps, standard is 30fps. But I have not read up on what the community thinks of this.

This and with dedicated Servers they could have reached 60fps.

Erm.. none of those games are open world.

You honestly didnt compare arena shooters with open world did you?

DriveClub vs Horizon 2 all over again. Didnt we learn from that?

Neither is Destiny unless you really wanna cheapen that term. Point is there's already more technically impressive games running at 60fps on base 8th gen hardware. The Pro would be more than enough in the hands of a more tech savvy developer. They just wanna make excuses for some reason (and an odd one seeing how maintaining competitive parity between versions would be more legitimate).
