Forums - Politics Discussion - DNC could be in trouble

I have been reading the transcript of the Carol Wilding vs DNC case:

http://jampac.us/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/042517cw2.pdf

This is essentially the class action brought to the DNC by those who donated to the DNC to support Bernie Sanders in the primaries.

I'm not going to copy and paste all 122 pages, but if you have a look you'll see the problem that the DNC faces: their lawyers are shit.

They babble even less coherently than Donald Trump and the plaintiff's lawyer, Jared Beck, is razor sharp.

Not to mention that it genuinely appears that Bernie supporters were defrauded of their donation money and the defendants arguments are weak.

I found page 13 quite entertaining though:

"THE COURT: Let me just interrupt you. MR. BECK: Oh, sure. THE COURT: And I apologize. This is not your problem. MR. BECK: Okay. THE COURT: But for those of you who are here as spectators -- and there's at least one individual and maybe two -- you are distracting the Court with your show of exuberance in support of counsel's arguments. You might as well be doing somersaults or backflips in support of counsel's argument. So, you are distracting me. So, if you want to help the side that you're here to support, let me listen to the lawyer, and please stop distracting me. Counsel, go right ahead."

Lol. Nobody ever accused Bernie supporters of being unenthusiastic.

Not sure why this hasn't made it into the mainstream media....oh wait, yes I am.

Around the Network

I don't really think that anything will come of this. Especially since Bernie Sanders endorsed Clinton after he lost the race, so it kind of makes it hard when Bernie Sanders views it as legitimate.

Shhhh.. We're supposed to be talking about a conspiracy theory with absolutely no evidence about how Russia somehow influenced the US election to help Trump win, not this fancy pants "evidence" about the DNC colluding against its own candidates and undermining American democracy and shutting out the only true liberal in the election!

"We hold these truths to be self-evident - all men and women created by the, go-you know.. you know the thing!" - Joe Biden

You could have had "Bernie Sanders" as president right now.
Instead you got Trump...

Well Bernie's not the one taking them to court. His supporters don't think he was given a fair run and want their money back. And then some.

What will come of it if it is found that the DNC obtained campaign funds fraudulently is that people will think twice about donating in future.

If anyone ever reports on this that is. I've seen nothing of it on TV or the internet. If it's not Trump it's not news it seems.

Oh right, sorry. I'll go back to criticising Trump like a good boy.

Not really. People will be scared by the prospect of Republicans winning, so they'll donate to the DNC, even if it means that they'll be scammed.

Yeah, scary thought.

Thanks DNC!

You can do both, you know?

While there is no evidence that Trump himself is included in any of it, there is quite a bit of evidence tha t several members of his staff, both during campaign and in office, have been communicating more with russians than they should have (Flynn...)

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

It will be a fine day when BOTH the GOP and DNC collapse, so an actual democracy can be installed in America. Not just one of them, though, don't trust them with full power over the country.
