I find digital to be convenient on handhelds.

agreed but not on nintendo handhelds. Nint gamers havent been groomed enough to migrate on to digital media, even on their previous handheld they relied on physical.. switch will be the first console to start the proper transistion, but not jump start it coz of low internal memory and high prices of UHS MicroSD cards. It will gain traction but as soon as the prices per gb comes down and 512 gb is available at the price of a normal HDD.

I mean what other handhelds are there? The only other would be the the PS Vita, and in comparison to those horribly expensive memory cards I wouldn't call that more ideal for digital games. Standard memory cards are pretty cheap in comparison, you can get a 200gb micro sd card for $85.

Although I get that memory card prices are still pretty high right now especially compared to the price of a normal HDD, but we've definitley seen a decrease in price over the years and that will sure to continue. But we are still far from going all digital in the gaming industry.

   Come up with a better excuse please, if that was the case, killzone shadowfall would be the best selling item on ps4 for months, but after 3yrs it's still sitting at 2.69m, zelda alone beat that.

   These stupid arguments of "ppl are buying this cause there anything else to play" are becoming old and dumb.

Excuses? Zelda would sell like mad no matter what point on the gen it came out. But of course it helps being the only major game does it not? (Sales are before mk8 deluxe)

 

I don't remember killzone Shadowfall being the highest rated game in years or killzone being a rich IP with decades of history but keep making comparisons :)

   All ps3/x360 titles, its like saying lego city undercover, bomberman R, 1-2 switch, snipperclips, fast rmx are competitions.
