Forums - Gaming Discussion - Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition - Announcement Trailer

I had the Sega CD version. Unfortunately my Sega CD didn't work so I couldn't play it. It's funny how such a controversial game back that helped launch the ESRB then only gets a Teen rating now!

Some things are better left undisturbed.

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

This was an E3 worthy announcement, sony should have waited to end their conference with it.

Yeah, we had C&C Music Factory, INXS, Kriss Kross and Marky Mark each get their own games! The best musicians to ever live!

This looks legit. Huh. But if it was trying to capitalize on the Five Nights at Freddy's popularity, it kinda arrived late.

Actually Night Trap is a very old franchise, one that started at the genesis and one of the first to use real life actors(and have a woman "semi nude" in it) for its cutscenes.

Never played the game myself, but from what I have watched, it seems pretty faithful with the original game, with the gameplay and general tone of the game. Its still extremely silly!

Edit:Actually, this seems like a remaster?Good for the fans of the original, I guess.

I know, this was one of the Sega CD "classics". But this whole genre was brought back to popularity with FNaF. Weird that they took so long to remaster.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Oh man. Michael Hutchence from INXS.  And Chris Kelly from Kriss Kross. Wow. That's at least 5 people on the Sega CD death count. :( Sseeeegaaaaaaa!

We are gonna need someone to keep their eye on Mark Wahlberg! Thank god he rolls with transformers now

I had this on the mega CD, never managed to finish it though. I got stuck towards the end and no matter what I tried I couldn't finish it.
