You want to wait again for 10 more years since its announcement?

I hope we get an awesome trailer that turns out to be nothing like the final version of the game.

No.We wont see it in no shape and form.First, its way too soon.Second, they already have FF 7 R to show.And third, they already have many titles in development that they need to show more anout(KH3, DQ XI, Dissidia, etc)

I see them showing a surprise or two, like what RPG factory is working on, and elaborate more on titles like Octopath traveller, but no FF XVI

don't think it will happen with part xvi again, for example with the releasing dq11 we see they could do faster

I want to see more footage of the FFVII tensor before they announce any new FF games!

I'm torn between my hopes for seeing something about XVI and wanting the teams to focus on the games they already have in development... I mean KH3 has been in development for what feel like forever! (not quite as long as Versus XIII/XV mind you )

I think with the games they already are developing and yet to release, any word on XVI would be just far too soon... I mean who else is sick of games being announced and then not releasing for several years! I'd rather be surprised with them 'pulling a Fallout 4' by announcing the game then releasing very soon after.

Too soon. They'll srelease an "updated edition" or a sequel before XVI. They have spent too much time and efford to just move on.

No. It would take attention away from XV, which is still supported. It would make pretty much no sense for XVI to be announced before XV's support is nearing its end. The only way it would get announced already is if XVI was released roughly by the end of summer 2018, which I seriously doubt. Even then, XVI would probably get announced at a later date instead of by this year's E3.
