Bill O’Reilly has been forced out of his position as a prime-time host on Fox News, the company said on Wednesday, after the disclosure of multiple settlements involving sexual harassment allegations against him. His ouster brings an abrupt and embarrassing end to his two-decade reign as one of the most popular and influential commentators in television.

“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,” 21st Century Fox, Fox News’s parent company, said in a statement.

I don't think I've ever watched Fox News so it's mostly irrelevant for me. From what I here he is a piece of shit, so good decision on FOX, even though it was definitely a financial move, not one of ethics.

Bullshit.

They were not concerned about this during the what, 15 years, that it's been going on? His former boss Roger Ailes, did the same, and worse for many years, and was removed from the network just around a year ago when it came out to the public.

Fox and Ailes knew about O'Reilly's sexual harassment alegations for many years. It wasn't until companies started pulling adds from the channel and they started losing millions because of this that they fired him. It was the same with Ailes.

What exactly did he do?
