I voted yes. Not REALLY important, but I would like to see a penalty for such dishonorable behavior.

Just ban ban-bets.

Mods need to evoke maturity and respect. Participation as "Mods' in these childish activities can distort their image.

I think mods should enforce those bets if both users have agreed to the terms and there's a clear winner.

I would also, let users back out of a ban bet if they really don't feel like being banned but it would come at the cost of being considered a pussy by the community.

Signature goes here!

Ban bets are boring. I would rather see the loser suffer through a certain time.

While not a ban bet, Metroid33Slayer and I made a bet for a year of sig control. I won that and he decided in his own mind he didn't have to honor the bet, lol.

I don't see why not, but the terms ought to be clear from the get go.

Bets can make things interesting, and it's not like there's much else to lose for a bet other than a temporary ban.

Changing an avatar to a my little pony picture for a month could be considered losing.

Who said it was bashing?  Some of us have a genuine love for Knack 2.

Reported for trolling.

Kind a harsh since 3d platformers are very scarce on PS4. So I could get why someone could be interested in Knack 2. Although I agree the first was pretty much shit.

Bets aren't a childish activity. They are commonly the consequence of childish activity, triggered by a loudmouth who is absolutely sure that something will succeed or fail. In many cases bets are about holding someone accountable and that's something that the mod team should support.

As for an image of maturity and respect, that ship has sailed a long time ago. The mods are no strangers to excessive Knack 2 bashing.

Remember that guy who was absolutely sure that the Switch would launch in 2016 during the Civil War bet and then refused to wear his crow avy when he lost? Maybe is time the mods hold him accountable, now that thats their job.
