I hate Nintendo and I still think the ps3 and 360 already lost. It is obvious even if the ps3 and 360 get a price cut and somehow outsell the Wii Nintendo will still be winners because they are making so much money this gen.

At this point it is pretty evident that the Wii will win this generation. There is a very, very low chance that its opponents will pass it, but it still is possible.

Talk about deja vu. You've said this so many times now...

By the time the PS3 is $250 the Wii will be at like $150. Still $100 less and definitely a lot more third party support will be on the Wii due to sales. Also, how long will the PS3 take to get to $250? Thi year the Wii will sell more than 40 mil total. 2009 it will be more than 60 mil total. Maybe eben nearing 70 mil if production increases in which case the Wii will be WAAAY to far for the PS3 to catch up by then.


Your still forgetting something soriku, humans are not machines, they arent going to buy it at a trend and certain pattern, if people want it they will buy it, but I just dont think 60-70million people want the wii right now. Also, Im not saying the PS3 will be $249 this year, Im just saying if it were at that price currently the situation would be much different. I also dont think wii will sell 40 million this year, thats all I have to say.

No because no nintendo console has ever sold past 60 million.

lets just take a look at all the world records the wii has broken:

fastest console to sell 5 mil

fastest console to sell 10 mil

fastest console to sell 10 mil in the us

fastest console to sell 20 mil

fastest console to have +50 mil in software

the list goes on and on and you DON'T think that the wii will sell over 60 million.

and i think the fact that no other nintendo console has sold over 60 mil is EXACTLY why they're calling the wii a PHENOMENON.



the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.                           

        PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.                                                                      

  GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.

 If I remember right it was the Sony fanboys that counted Nintendo out of this gen early (before it started actually). As did all of the "analysts", gaming press, and every game nerd on the planet.  I guess some things are just too hard for people to deal with.  I don't give a damn who "wins", but I really feel a lot of you need to go off some where and cry (literally).  Maybe then you'll be able to cope with the reality that surrounds you and can then just go enjoy your games. 

Just because Sony did something twice doesn't mean it's going to happen again.  If you like looking at the past to make trends (even faulty ones), then you should look at all the historical trends that point to this war already being over.
