Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Where are the Rumors ?

The Switch is out and everyone who owns it is having a blast with Zelda, this as well as the Switch presentation, seems to have eliminated any kind of rumor regarding Nintendo.

I know some of you might argue that's ok to not have rumors since there have been far too many NX threads and so on in the past few years on this website but I find rumors pretty funny/interesting to read: I always read them to see what people would like Nintendo to do next and they are often a source of good ideas, meaning that if we (the fans) are really vocal about wanting some of them Nintendo might actually end up doing so (see Fire Emblem Warriors which was part of countless fake rumors). What do you think ? do you miss the rumors ? are you interested in reading them ?

I love the post-Switch world. Actual games to look forward to instead of rumors about Melee running stable on Switch VC.

2017 seems pretty stacked as it is. Hopefully we'll hear something about 2018 and beyond at E3 though.

I miss rumors too. Always fun to speculate what is true and what isn't, and I'd rather have rumors than have nothing to talk about (Still don't have a Switch so can't really talk about, y'know, playing it lol). Hopefully with E3 around the corner they'll start showing up again.

Also where's Mother 3

The people who were throwing out rumors leading up to the Switch launch got alot of things wrong so they are probably laying low for awhile.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I hate rumors. I like concrete information.

This, and since they got many things wrong, they are probably double checking their sources for now.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I prefer concrete announcements, but Nintendo has been quite quiet since launch. Maybe Reggie wasn't lying and they are trying to knock it out of the park this E3.

The last time they did that was 2014 and that was the Wii U's peak year. Maybe they're making the connection as well (hype and hope over a bright release forecast helps people feel confident in pulling the trigger on console purchase).

i like rumors.... gives me false hope like my sex life

yeah we haven't heard any Super Mario Sunshine HD rumour or SSB WiiU Switched edition rumour or Paper Mario Switch Colour Deluxe rumour or Metroid Switch Fusion blast rumour

Switch!!!

They announced so much in January that there really isn't much to speculate on.

There's always Metroid and RE7 rumors still afloat though.

... but then there's WTF is Retro Studios doing. Seriously - no one has anything to say on that?

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
