Forums - Gaming Discussion - Which games best suited for battery stress tests?

After reading this article about the Switch + power banks I'm thinking about stress testing the (old) batteries of all my handhelds with and without my power bank.

What games do you think would be suited for a demanding "worst case scenario"?

  • Vita: Killzone Mercury (rubberbanding the right stick to circle the camera and to prevent the display from dimming)?
  • 3DS: Resident Evil Revelation?
  • PSP: God of War GoS/CoO? GTA LCS/VCS?
  • DS: Metroid Prime Hunters?
  • iOS/Android: Assassin's Creed Identity?

Or which games would you recommend for stress tests? They should either have a demo loop or areas without respawning enemies.

Around the Network

Game Gear. Anything..just anything will make the battery die faster than anyone on elevator after an onion and egg wet fart.

Smash Bros for 3DS is pretty demanding, haven't played RE Revelations though

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Try Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the 3DS and new 3DS lines. The reasoning is obvious: it supports single-player, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer, thus covering for all scenarios in the most demanding way possible. It is also optimized for the new 3DS / new 3DS XL.
