I think it's an interesting and endearing choice by Nintendo management to facilitate the worldwide release of a small Japanese indie game at the Switch launch.

But goddamn. There's plenty of games in that category that are more finished and playable than Vroom in The Night Sky.

I hope the studio responsible don't end up having been done a disservice, what with everyone rating their first widely exposed game this poorly.

1 2 Switch is actually a lot of fun when you have several friends/family members together.  Those of you who tend to play by yourselves won't have much fun with it though.

If Nintendo wants developers to put software on the Switch, it would help to loosen up on the seal of quality. Years ago, it made sense to have a seal of quality on games; not so much now with the internet so available and ubiquitous.

Both Switch and WiiU launched with a shitty title.

The WiiU launch had Family Party: 30 Great Games which was retail.
At least the Switch launch crap is just on eShop.

The game everyone is going to buy.
