I think that a mentla health thread that'd help people deal with their issues or have someone to talk to would be a great thing for this site. However, I'm not sure if this has been attempted and the past and failed, or if it's just that no one has ever tried it before.

I'd recommend a help from professionals than a bunch of randoms from the internet, so no, i'm against this idea

Well, obviously if there was a huge crisis professional help would be recommended, but a thread could help people before they reach that point.

If you need someone to talk to, I'm sure someone here will be able to help. I can't at the moment since I'm about to start my shift at work. I'm sorry.

I'm all right right now, a bit overwhelmed but I'll manage. However, there may be other people on this site who'd like a thread like this. Or maybe I'm wrong and no one does, but I guess we'll see.

No reason to be against it. Always good for people to have others to talk to especially in times of need. 

We've all been there. In need of someone to talk to so this thread is a good idea.

It's maybe a good idea to use the thread to find people who are willing to talk, any actual discussions are best done in private rather than in a thread like this.

Idk if it's a good idea to show the internet you're a vulnerable person. Sure some ppl will try to comfort you, but it also doesnt stop one ahole to send mean msg to your inbox. Imo, there are things that're better discussed with close friends or families, and this is defly one of them

I dont think there is a need, since I think most users here dont mind the eventual thread about personal issues(Minus when a certain user documents every step of his failed love life with his PS friend), so I dont think it warrants a topic to be made only for it.

And if you are, or anyone on that matter, in need to just talk about anything to let off steam, Im more than happy to fill that role!
