Awesome, thanks for that.

P4Who?? What an odd-looking machine. I must have one.
It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P
Damn that P4S is a beast!
Ei Kiinasti.
Eikä Japanisti.
Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.
Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.
Does the P4S controller really says Sony?
Wii u hasnt been in stores here for bout a year now!
My timezone has a similar thing. But ita not a crane, but they put Wii U, PS4 and XB1 in there.
Pocky Lover Boy!

Launch aligned PS4 passed Wii U in sales after 85 weeks on the market, which would be around August 2014. PS4: 970k (Launched in Feb, so missing January sales. But this being its launch year more than made up for that.) |
So I made mistake about launch alignment?
Anyway, as for your question... I have already answered that in the post you quoted! I bolded it, read again...
They could have continued the momentum of splatoon and release switch in late 2017 not in the beginning of it , instead of that, they didn't fix the stock issues caused by the huge sales on holidays in 2015 on time, they decreased dramatically the production and stopped the support in spring following the premature ( for me ) announcement of the release date of the equally priced home gaming system ( Nintendo characterizes like that ), switch.
The cheap Gamecube had less sales in its 4th year ( 3rd too, super mario maker and mainly splatoon skyrocketed wii u sales ) than the expensive/overpriced wii u ( 2005 vs 2016 ) , but Nintendo released a lot more games for it till the end and wii came on holidays 2006...
Sadly wii u not just was a commercial flop, it was also making insufficient profit and small losses in its first two years ( blame it on the costly tablet controller ) unlike gamecube, so it had to be replaced as soon as possible...
