Pretty nice, a good list of games, just don't like the song they play in the background :p

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Dudes, haven't you heard? It has 1 2 Switch coming, so all their games are just gimmicky shmimicky shovelware for the casualz, lol. I know because it's a fact. As much of a fact as a fact can be. Word.

Yeah, the music in that trailer wasn't quite fitting. Try watching it with the Sonic Mania trailer music instead:

Works great!

Really shows off the diversity in the line-up. Hopefully we see even more games from across the spectrum at E3. I don't expect the Switch to replace my other consoles, I just want it to have a healthy ecosystem that is all its own. It's off to a great start.

Unfortunately, only a handful are actual substantial new games.

You'll be surprised how much better than Wii U this system will sell.

How does that make the current games lineup "substantual" though?

A good game is a good game regardless of the budget. Some of these smaller titles look really good. I like the look of has been heroes.

Is that title with the boy and his dog confirmed. I thought there were issues with the developer and financing?

Of the titles shown most I wouldn't want, some I'd want on more powerful systems that will likely be cheaper too. Some I pretty much have already on wii u or something else and some I quite like the look of for a quick play but wouldn't want to pay much for.

I guess for me its still pretty much Mario Odyssey only. The issue for me is many of the Switch titles don't justify anywhere near their pricing. I'm happy to pay reasonable money for big amazing games on powerful hardware but low performance games on portable hardware is for me something I'm only prepared to pay small amounts of money for. That's what the competition are doing. Do I want to play Dragon Quest with poor graphics but the benefit of portability or do I want to play it with a decent controller and fantastic graphics and be limited to the portability of my house and garden only using Vita remote play? As you can imagine its ps4 for me. I also expect the ps4 version to be a lot cheaper too.
