So, you're saying democracy doesn't happen? If the lawmakers don't represent the people's morale/what people think is right, people are going to vote for new lawmakers, isn't it so?

Yes, I'm saying that democracy doesn't happen. A few hundred people decide the laws. Direct democracy is the only true democracy.

If people prefer representative democracy over direct democracy, isn't democracy happening in that case? But people vote for the lawmakers based on their own preference on different matters, isn't this democracy?

You could say direct democracy being the true form of democracy, but in that case, we'd need considerably smaller autonomic units that we have today. Otherwise bureucracy would kill the decision making.

The constitution was made by rich slaveowners, and the average salary of a congressman is much higher than the average person, and people who are born rich agree more likely to be rich, so it's easy to deduce that the laws are made by rich people for rich people, and it's obviously working. I'm saying that poor people commit more crimes because it is the rich people who decide what the crimes are.

So you're more concerned about what the lawmakers were than the merits of the Constitution. Just because the Consitution was written by rich people doesn't mean it the laws were made for rich people. This is ad hominem and guilt by association. Overall, your reasoning is still not related to law and you've been given ample opportunity to make your case, but not once have you gone into the merits of the laws that you have problems with.

My reasoning is not entirely related to law because it's the entire system itself that is the problem: if laws were abolished the problems would still remain. It's the capitalist easy of organization itself that is the problem. Laws are just one way in which they maintain power.

Well, when education system and media repeatedly did into people's minds the greatness of representative democracy without giving any other alternatives, people will think that. Also, I favor less centralized organization, as it eliminates bureaucracy.

As I understand from reading other articles, what PewDiePie actually did was using a platform called "Fiverr" to see just how embarrassing/disgusting things people are willing to do for a few pieces of silver nowadays. Among these things was holding up signs that read "Death to all jews" and "Hitler did nothing wrong" in public.

Now one can clearly disagree on whether this is funny or not - but how is this very different from what Sasha Baron Cohen has been doing in his roles as "Brüno" or "Borat"? In these movies (usually considered to be very funny), Cohen is often actively "fishing for anti-semitism", trying to make his dialog partners say disgusting things like demanding a "train to Auschwitz".

I don't see how this is very different. Because Cohen is a jew himself? I don't think so.

Very good point about Sasha Baron Cohen.

But the world is just too dumb these days. Especially these college kids. I'm constantly seeing headlines of them doing some new stupid protest, awareness, actions/ect.

Heck just today I read an article about a college wanting white people to all wear a small white badge around. They want it to bring on discussion of white priviledge. Ha, why don't we ask the jews how being told to wear a badge is a good idea or not.

But I just don't get Liberals. They scream about discrimination and wanting equality, yet they are busy labeling everybody into groups as hard as they can. Heck, look at recent election. After every debate, or any poll that came out, the talk woudl constantly be on what demographic voted for who. Talking about who women voted for, and then bashing how could a woman vote for someone. Constantly hearing about Uneducated white voters. Yea, that's great. Lets just go and call a huge group of people stupid for their label.

Yes... it's horrible when you make judgements about a huge group of people for their label...

So all this ridiculous political talk on a non-political post aside, does anyone know if Felix has issued a response?

Well, what would be a better alternative, and more importantly, why?

Well, this is definitely a political issue.  But, he did.  It was something along the lines of "It was a joke, even if in retrospect it wasn't funny, I'm not actually antisemitic, etc."  Basically the standard response for this sort of thing.

It's not political, it's social.

So you are unable to support your allegation that the Constitution is made for rich people and instead respond with vagueness. I think we have hit a wall with our conversation, so I'm willing to just stop it here.

Why else would there be such an importance on property laws? Because they went to make sure they they can keep all of the excess that they have.
