Sometimes I take out random game cases/boxes off the shelf just to look at the box art for a bit, so...yes.

I enjoy nice cover art, but it has no say in my decision to buy a game. So I guess it's not that important to me.

I've ranted about some covers being very lacking, such as only having the title and black background, or that including the main character, so it's quite important to me. I feel they can definitely give you a good idea of what the game is if done right. A blank one tells you nothing.

Yes, they're important to me.

1. I like that it uses artwork over cg render of characters.
2. I like that it conveys a feeling of the themes within the game.
3. I like that it is visually engaging and makes you wonder what the game is about.
