Fallout 4 update 1.14 provides a conundrum

Fallout 4's new PS4 pro update has landed. As promised by Bethesda's blog, patch 1.14 (also known as 1.9) pushes the game to a native 1440p, adding in expanded draw distances and a higher grade god ray effect. It also improves frame-rates compared to a regular PS4, but we're still some way off a 30fps lock. However there's a twist: by using patches earlier than 1.14, and selecting PS4 Pro's boost mode option, it's possible to achieve smoother results than Bethesda's official patch - although all other Pro enhancements are obviously left off the table.
If you want to best frame rate, don't update!
I couldn't wait and tested my creations with the patch. First time I saw my sign working as intended
Before it was running at 2fps with the sign connected to the power grid. Perhaps an earlier patch already fixed the extreme slowdown with complex powergrids, no clue. I would have to reinstall the game on the vanilla ps4 to test that. It still only runs at 20 fps or so in my heavily overbuild town (used an exploit to keep building and building and building) It's better than it used to be, and night and day with the power turned on.
Graphics, dunno, I was using psvr as secondary screen to test :) Looked great to me.
