Yesterday a friend of mine was murdered inside his house. The bandits entered inside his home putted him on his knees and shooted his head. For no reason since they already had all the materials goods they wanted. And it was a upper-middle class house with high walls, security cameras and broad daylight in a medium sized town.

I mean, the situation here is completely out of control. A person can literally be killed inside their house for no reason. It`s disgusting how people here learn to live along violence like it is normal.

Urban violence is extremely out of control, everyday I live my home not knowing if I am coming back, and now we can`t even feel safe inside our own homes, this place is literally a complete warzone and there`s nothing we can do about it but wall ourselves even more. 

Christ that does sound rough. Emigrate? Perhaps you can nip over to the USA before Trump builds that wall.

That's brutal. I only know this stuff from liveleak. They just shoot you in the head just for fun. You don't even need to look at them, they will come to you and end your life, because they can. They won't even rob you. It's a real fucked up situation. And I can't come up with a non violent solution to get rid of these people.

sorry for your lost man, i'm from brazil too and i know that here the security is fucking terrible ( You see the situation of the Espirito Santo with the police all on strike and this having several cases of rape, death and robbery in the state).

I live in Goiânia, this happened in Anapolis, where he lived. Very close cities, many people live in one and work/study in the other. 

This situation is nonsense, and it`s just escalating everyday more. And also yesterday there was a shooting in a big supermarket ( is Carrefour a thing in USA?) for the most ridiculuous reason and one person died and two are in risk of death. 

It always happened, but now it`s coming to places where before were considered security islands and higher classes neighborhoods media is paying attention. But it`s bizarre to think you can die by going to the supermarket or at home... 

I`m just finishing my law degree this semester, and now i`m really sorry about it, if I did an engineering course I could use it abroad, a law degree is pretty much useless in other countries...
