It's truly truly sad when a great video game or video game franchise is left behind while its still loved by many fans around the world. I could cry right now.
We all have that one video game that isn't getting that sequel we all wanted any time soon, and it seems like the Company who owns the Franchise has another Franchise that is more successful and they want that successful franchise to be their main focus. It really drives fans like me really crazy. Fable being overshadowed by Halo, Mega Man overshadowed by Street Fighter, and I can name dozons of other games that are long forgotten. I know there's fans that started petitions, rant videos on Youtube, and even criticized the Company on social media. But those multi-million dollar Companies don't care, right? If a game sells well, it's all in! If it doesn't sell well, it's placed up on that dusty shelf. But also there's other problems like the Company being bankrupt, or all its games being purchased and forgotten. It's just a shame, I tell you.
My Games /Franchises I feel should come alive again!
- Conkers Bad Fur Day Sequel. Played this since I was little and it's my favorite game of all time. The remake WASN'T sequel, it was a remake with a new poor multiplayer mode and better graphics. The DLC from Project Spark isn't a sequel. And Skinny Conker is totally not a sequel either! Microsoft please give me my 2nd Conker game!
- Another Metroid Game: All die hard Nintendo fans has been hating on NIntendo for years now because the beloved Metroid series has not had a full traditional game since 2010. We all know Metriod: Other M didn't sell well but that's because it's not a Metroid Prime game. It's as if Nintendo said "Ouch, this non traditional Metroid game didn't sell well... Probably means another Prime game won't sell well either!". I would totally buy Prime 4!
- Marble Blast Ultra: Some gamers out there are probably scratching their heads and thinking "What is this game?". I assure you, this game is SUPER FUN despite only selling a little over 750K. This game is about being a Marble using jumping abilities and power ups to complete super fun Obstacles. I have never played Online with people but this would be better if it had voice chat and you played with friends. I highly reccomend looking up gameplay videos on Youtube and see what this is about. I played the hell out of this back in my 360 days! I don't know why this game or its sequels got left behind.
- Fable: I loved Fable as a kid and I always compared it to Zelda. I was going to buy Fable Legends along with an Xbox One until it got cancelled.
- Another 3D Rayman game: When I was a kid everyone was debating either Mario or Sonic was the best video game character, while I was playing Rayman games and LOVING his games. I'll admit, to me Rayman was just as big as Mario as a kid. Instead of playing Sunshine, I was playing Rayman 3 instead. I had a lot of Rayman games everywhere. Rayman Legends and Origins were fine. But I still want Rayman 4 to come out!
- A Sequel to Majora's Mask: I've pitched this before but people think it was stupid. OOT and MM are straight up connected, same controls, same art style and same everything. I would LOVE to see same everything with a sequel to Majora's Mask.
- GTA San Andreas Prequel: SA was one of my favorite games as a child and I would like to see what happened before the events of San Andreas. Or even a sequel would be great.
