and who will save it? JoJo? Code Geass S3?
Anime will be saved when either Haruhi season 3 or a Zatch Bell reboot comes out, so never.
Seriously though, there's still good anime coming out. Personally I'm looking forward to Steins;Gate 0, the Cardcaptor Sakura sequel, Gintama and Nanatsu no Taizai season 2.
LWA is already airing. I don't know what you're talking about.

Trigger saved anime at the end of 2013; One Punch Man revitalized it for the average joe. JoJo has cemented it.
2016 was a great year for anime. Boku no Hero, JoJo, 91 Days, heck even Dragon Ball Super stepped up their game. (we don't talk about Bezerk)
Toonami is even back in strides.
This year has heavy hitters too. We are getting
Little Witch Academia from Trigger
Boku No Hero Academia
Boku No Pico
One Punch Man
Ao No Exorcist
and more
Anime doesn't need saving
As an .mkv or some such file. Then put it into a folder like anime/title/season/ect.
Do what you like.
Name it something like "showtitle - s01e01 - episodetitle" and then you can watch it through a service like Plex or something.
That's at least how I save my anime.
It's been a while since I've watched anime, been too busy catching up TV shows.
Tonight I'll be watching this
Anime can only be saved when everyone likes what I like.
But seriously, as great as classic anime are, I still find plenty of great stuff every season in a variety of genres. I'd honestly say I have more to watch now than when I was younger. Just have to be willing to try new things.
