Forums - Gaming Discussion - First Switch Games?

Well I am getting it mostly for Wii U because I have a Wii U.

As long as load times are not happening as Much as they did back in the PS days I will be ok.

Yea, this was basically the start screen to game load screen. So the biggest I assume.

Seeing as this is an open world game, depends on how you play, it may have zero load times. (well maybe a load time before a cutscene, though I hope not. FF15 again was a bad one in that regard) But as I said in later game you may be teleporting as you get sick of riding horse for 10 minutes to do a fetch quest or something. And that may be when you run into 30 second load times that annoy you.

Welcome back, Raichu! I think I will get the Switch in 2018, so my first games are going to be Mario, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, MK8 Deluxe and maybe Boomberman.

I'm getting Zelda and Bomberman R at launch. Snipperclips later.

It doesn't really make sense talking about anything else. I'm getting pretty much every major release, unless Splatoon 2 pulls the same anemic launch content and scheduled map cycle BS as the original.

Didn't get Splatoon as I'm not a fan of that genre really, but I thought that their release schedule was neat. Beyond the game being insanely fun from waht I hear, it kept people coming back as there were constantly new maps and weapons being released making people excited to come in and check them out.

Now if Nintenod had them each cost money, like DLC, then it would be shit. But the frequent fast free updates sounds fun.

I'm getting Zelda at launch, Xenoblade 2 is an absolute priority for me, and I'll most likely get Splatoon and Mario day one.

I may also get Sonic Mania on Switch.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Sonic Mania is gonna do well on Switch. Same trailer but with switch logo has almost 2 million views on YouTube. Haha also hope Xenonlade 2 is a 2017 release so it'll fill my jrpg thirst.

SFV pulled the exact same thing and got crucified for it. I don't find launching at $60 with only 5 maps and 2 modes "neat." Especially not for a second go around. It's even less acceptable here than it was in the original.

If I'd ever get it, which isn't for quite some time, probably only Mario Odyssey and Zelda.
