Forums - Microsoft Discussion - How much memory should xbox scorpio be bundled with?

I am thinking 4 terabytes...

I am almost done filling up my 2 terabytes on xbox one s. Imagine how much space we are going to need with the scorpio! All the 4k 60fps games with hdr and virtual reality. I cant wait! Im so glad microsoft is innovating and keeping the industry alive!

Or 1TB at $400-$450

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Maybe 500GB to teach people that you can also delete content you don't need anymore.

for PS4 its really important, because else you need to replace the HDD but for the XBox the external drive is king, faster load speeds because you can attach faster drives, even multiple drives and also a faster OS because the OS and Games run on a different drive

So I wouldn't mind if they just released it with a small drive, but give people options and also release models with more. like they did with the S, but im quite sure thats their plan anyway

1TB SSHD on the base model to keep the price down. 2 TB and 4TB options for $50 and $100 more. SSHD instead of an HD for faster load times, they only cost about $10-15 more than a same sized HD, but improve load times by 20-40% according to Digital Foundry testing.

What? You can't be talking about SSD and pricing. Maybe normal drives, but solid state you get huge price differences when you get into the terrabyte ranges and higher.

SSD in the terrabytes cost you more than $500 themselves.

He said SSHDs, which are different

2TB for 120usd - https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-FireCuda-2-5-Inch-Notebooks-ST2000LX001/dp/B01M1NHCZT/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1484590107&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=sshd&psc=1

The games wont be larger then they are on xnox one...
So 1 to 2 tera is enough

Unless they are using a 3.5" drive, that isn't going to happen. I'd say 2 TB max to keep cost down.
