Forums - Nintendo Discussion - How can a company be this out of touch...

Most Nintendo die hards will scoop it up on day 1. Everyone else will either be,
1) Online shooter fans = Will wait till something proper launches hopefully later in the year.
2) Everyone thats been waiting on the new Zelda game = Price will turn them off. Will wait for a price drop..
3) The ones that already own a PS4&XBOX1 and have been waiting for their Nintendo fix = Is a new Zelda game enough to drop $300+ for it ?

Basically, their handheld fanbase will have to save the console, unless they are not willing to spend so much. This one seems hard to predict

We can predict it actually. How much did the 3DS cost at launch, before Nintendo had to drop the price in emergency because the sales were too low?

EDIT: Oh yeah, $250 dropped to $170 a few month later. Good luck with the $300 version.

That's an actual gaming concept?! I can't imagine that I was sleeping soundly at work while this horror was set loose upon the world.

The gap in quality and value between the best and the worst from Nintendo must be the biggest gap in the universe.

Well you haven't watched the whole segment (there are more min games in 1-2 Switch than this). Apparently some who have played it don't mind it.

Yes, this and Hand Job: The Mini-Game and Imaginary Ping Pong are actually major parts of the game, lol.

Been saying this ever since the Wii U was revealed; Nintendo are simply unwilling to read and respond to the market and insist that they can somehow have their cake and eat it too.

Some truly shocking choices they've made, the Wii's unprecedented drop in the latter half of the 7th gen and the whole Wii U disaster taught them next to nothing, it seems.

Meanwhile at Nintendo ...

We're witnessing the downfall of Nintendo folks...lol

Thanks for saying it my place, I just didn't want a nintendo fan quoting me to tell me how wrong I am. Actually 300 in the us. Pretty sure it won't sell shit in Europe for 330 and with controllers/games being so expensive as well. Good luck to nintendo I guess, they will really need it to "save" the market.

Btw, I feel at this point it's not that nintendo are incompetent choosing the price for their consoles, it's just their tactic to make insane profit in the expense of their diehard fans, and are already considering a drop after a few months. They can't be this stupid

Once again Nintendo makes a gimmick (HD rumble this time) and then make a game to justify its existence but the remaining 99% of games will never use it.

Signature goes here!

Add two more and it'll be one for each percent the stock dived after the presentation. Investors seemed switched off.

I'm both excited and afraid to see what happens with this thing.

i have been saying they are out of touch for a long while now. i have said that iwata (before he passed away) and myamoto need to go, that the management needs to change. i dont understand how this company is just so out of touch, i honestly dont get it.
