Nintendo should just buy Platinum Games at this point. They perfectly fits together.

The game ran like crap on the Xbox One. You think the solution to this problem is to put it on mobile hardware a fraction of the Xbox Ones power?

In theory: Yup, why not? Lower the resolution if necessary, it would still look good.

Practically: Powaah is not the issue. Ports from current gen consoles are said to be easy.

I was so proud. 

It's an MS IP they own the rights, the concept has been around for a while and MS picked it up.

It had problems running because of the changes MS demanded to be added such as the 4 player co-op, the game itself was going to be very different originally it was even originally going to be a Wii game. MS refused to back down on the changes which resulted in the game people saw.

Nintendo needs to buy Platinum right away... and make them their crazy factory. Love me some Platinum games.
