You highlighted the part about protection, but what you are talking about now doesn't qualify as using rules to protect oneself.

You insult others in way that the rules protect you most of the time from the consequences of it.

Snoopy was warned for spreading false information before and in that post he pretty much copy/pasted the same exact post that got him in trouble last time. He also has an extensive (and I mean EXTENSIVE) history for trolling, which explains the length as a strong message to stop repeating the behavior. Not sure why the ban glitched, I submitted the ban with a long note explaining it.

The ban looks glitched still.  I don't see a length or a reason. I get the reason, what is the length?
