Well, in a nutshell, he went off on SSB in the form of a top 50 list of things he hated about it. I found it funny, and believe it was legit, and not a troll thread. He elicits some great responses too, which is part of the fun of his threads. There was an Uncharted thread he made that was similar. The level of abuse he's taking in the last 3 threads has been pretty gross though. It's a bit fucked up that a handful of relatively harmless squabbles about consoles will see mods step in and gently suggest that users dial back the vitriol, but this guy can have 4 dozen personal insults hurled his way and nothing happens.

hopefully the thread is meant as a joke or something, because otherwise it would suggest you're oddly self obsessed. Like its a discussion forum, why would anyone particularly know who anyone is.

When I first clicked on it the only logical type of poster on here who it might apply to would be someone like Spurgeon who has a kajillion posts

But I am aware of who you are, mostly for your nonsensical and controversial threads. Take it as you will

You're the guy who isn't very good at videogames, who wants them all to be ruined for others so people of your small skill level can also enjoy them without any kind of real challenge or sense of achievement.

He's just being himself. He asked if he's known, not if he's liked. He's young, a bit impetuous, and has posted in anger/frustration in the past. I really don't think he's trolling. That's my take. In his last few threads/comments, he's mentioned that he loves the site, and has been complimentary towards it's user base. There are several permutations to the scenarios you mentioned. None of which justify such tactless replies. IMO. And no offense. To you or anybody else making the negative comments. Not looking for an argument. Just hoping for some restraint.
