I assume you are quite deluded in your everyday life to.

Its announced as 2018, you claim 2019 at the earliest sounding like a fool.

YAhh ND is so known for their near 2 year long delays lmao.

Uncharted 4 was announced for 2015, remind me again what year it released?

Also I wasn't aware 2018-2019 was a gap of 2yrs.

ND have never delayed a game I'm sorry I'm just a deluded pony.

As you said earliest, never said they never delayed just your asinine insinuation of such a long time off show you are full of it.

I think mid-2018 is likely the earliest we'll see TLOU2, with mid-2019 being most likely.

ND delayed Uncharted 4 but there we're also known development issues. so if they can avoid those issues then they should be able to hit 2018 if that's what they're aiming for.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Sony has had these games in development for years. They were just waiting for them to be ready. Their focus has always been on games but they take time to develop. While other companies make old games, they focus on new ips.

You mean new IPs like The Last of Us 2, God of War 4, Knack 2 (why is that even a thing?) and a remake of the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy?

Alrighty then.

Knack is a new IP this gen. Same with Driveclub, horizon, days gone, dreams, the order 1886, death stranding, Bloodborne, until dawn, Ni-Oh, what remains of Eden finch, and a lot more. But yeah, alrighty then.

Last of us launched only months before the new gen started. Knack is a new IP and it got a sequel because it turned a proit. God of War is not a new IP but they do let some games survive. Horizon is a new IP. The Last Guardian, which has taken so damn long to come out. Until Dawn was also a new ip. There are plenty more second and third party games.

Last Guardian is Ico 3, you said they focus on new IPs exclusively because Horizon xD

TLG isn't ICO 3. Technically ICO and SoTC aren't directly related, they were "spiritual successors" that really shared little more than Ueda behind the wheel. Same with TLG, they're all standalone and not technically sequels.

Nope, Sony has been fucking up since launch in the games department, the weakest launch line up of any console. And the continues here's game X and game Y, they're years out but please get hyped and the constant delay bullshit. Look at PSX 2016, here's TLOU2 .... probably a 2019 game at the earliest.

Sonys management of its exclusive games this gen has been pisspoor, that's they're biggest misstep, so no OP.

What I want to know is what platform holder doesn't delay or show trailers for games before launch. Kinda pointless to hold the company delivering the most accountable when we have other companies delivering less and magically dodging flak for delays.

A. This is a Sony topic so my comment was focused on Sony.

B. NN/XO game delayes don't affect me as I don't own/play those system so it's pointless me bringing them up.

C. Only coz NN/MS do it doesn't make Sony any less wrong.

From a purely consumer standpoint, I get what you're saying and I agree about delays sucking. I also see the delay thing happening everywhere I look though, it's not an issue with any one company. But you obviously can see that based on the contextual clues in your post.

As a handheld gamer and vita, not ps4, owner, this thread sounds like a joke. There's no focus on games for it, from Sony's part.

Well. Unfortunately you aren't the focus of Sony for quite some years. I do understand your issues with it, but this thread is about the console decisions not hh or other ventures.

TLOU/UC4 where both delayed. My comment was taking delays into account. 2019 at the earliest (taking delays into consideration) seems like a safe bet and most likely when it will release. Sony announced this too early. My original comment was about Sony delaying they're games and announcing them too early being they're "missteps" still stands. That's my opinion, that guy losing his shit was uneeded.

I may be wrong but you were like saying all or more than half of those games would come at 2019 at earliest. If you were talking about TLOU2 then we could say it's plausible. But the way you portrayed was quite off from the truth.

But I'm not continuing with this. It seems I've ruffled enough feathers for this thread.

And weren't you intending exactly on that?

They've always had a strong focus on games, but the reality of their release schedule is sometimes is a bit underwhelming. 2017 looks amazing on paper, lets hope it all comes to fruition.

Technically, Sony even said The Last of Us Pt II is in early development stages. So there is a chance it won't be out until 2019 and ND do have a history with delays (along with many other developers this generation...which was also brought up later in a conversation in this very thread).  It is a legitimate concern this generation coming from all fronts and his post follows the thread guidelines.

And why were you intending on harassing him after he said he was deciding to leave the thread and has obviously been addressed by a moderator...

Yep, there is even chance that TLOU2 come only after 2020 for all we know.

It's a legitimate concern for this game. But on the show as a whole there are plenty of games that will release on 2017 (there were even games releasing that same day), so it came as a bit of bashing to say the earliest will be 2019 for all games shown (unless I saw it wrong and he was talking only about TLOU2).

Asking if his intention on the posts that inflated some feathers wasn't that is a harassing?

I dunno, from what you listed, it seems like they playing it a little safe here. Quite a bit of 2s I heard from the PSX event, and some other sequels as well. I'm not saying it's bad. Sometimes games have room to expand upon and have another shot at a game, but I don't see it as something great either.

I think you did read it wrong. He's definitely just referring to The Last of Us with his post.

It's harassment when he blatantly says he's leaving the thread and you create the nice blue icon that makes him come back into the thread he's avoiding.

So my bad on both.
