Playstation gamers for the most part like COD/Sports games/Ect as well. A lot of Japanese niche games aren't selling well on the PS4 too. Look at Disagea. I think it is getting to the point where a lot of these Japanese developers are just going to stop making niche Japanese games because the PS4 isn't doing too well in Japan. If my sources are correct PS4 isn't even at 3 million in Japan. That isn't enough install base to make games for and localize for U.S. I bet a lot of these Japanese niche games were made before the PS4 came out. There is no way I would spend millions of dollars and my main target is only around 3 million users in Japan.

They have a true exclusive, halo 5 (and MCC). And that's enough for me considering that is the only game I play now lol but if you aren't a fan of Halo and you want more exclusives then PS4 is probaly better. I know people who don't care about the exclusives or anything they mainly play 3rd party like CoD and BF and they play xbox just cause that's what more people in our town have.

It has to do with the fact I and a lot of people don't care for a lot of PS4 exclusives as well. Japanese niche games and Cinematic experience games doesn't intrest a lot of people including me. Even if the games score well, it doesn't appeal to quite a few people. It's like recommending a grown adult male off the street to watch a romantic movie and tell them it was well received. Most adult males have no intrest in those movies.

Had an original and a 360. MS lost me with their conduct. Over and over, in both gaming and their other businesses. They operate in a scummy way imo. Just look at the W10 stealth update nonsense for a recent example. RROD wasn't just bad engineering, it was a known issue that they decided to go ahead with. Even worse, was the way it was handled for a 2 year period. They finally admitted to the issue, but dragged it out for way too long. How about ads on the subscription service XBL? That was a pretty contentious issue some years ago. I also COULD not buy a controller for the 360 that didn't have the dreaded "drift" problem. The last 3 in a row I bought all did it, and it was only about 6-7 months ago I googled it and found it was an issue for others too. There are other things, but I don't like making long posts. What they offer is really quite good. Some great exclusives, hardware, online, ect. Pretty sure I'm done for good though. It will be 10 years since I sold my 360 this spring.

That's with any and every system though. Heck I can say that I and a lot of people do care for PS4 exclusives. Japanese "niche" games and "Cinematic" experience games do a lot of pople inlcuding me. I agree just because games score well that doesn't mean they appeal to quite a few people. Heck most Halo games score well and I do not care for Halo...but I know others do. Mario game score well and I do not care for mario anymore. Gran Turisom games score well and I do not care for Gran Turismo. People jsut have different tastes that's all. But I do still understand where Onionberry is coming from with this thread though. It doesn't apply to me because I do not game on PCs but I still feel her.

And that last I can't say I agree with....what does being a adult male have to do with not liking romactic movies? And why do you feel MOST adult males would not be interested in those movies?

It means to the users who are saying xbox needs niche japanese games in their library have no idea how much problems it will cause and not worth the money for the developers/publishers.
