Yeah I'm thinking I can unload a bunch of my WiiU games at GameStop in January once we know more about the Switch library. No need to own two copies of Splatoon, Smash, Mario Kart, etc. -- especially if the Switch versions are superior.

The key point is playing it on the go. If you want to play it on the go and still havent got bored of the game or like the new features they going to add, then theres a reason for you to own 2 copies.

Apparently its the ones that have been leaked...... I guess Eurogamer knows more, but don't have enough source or reliable sources to be confident to share it. 

 

Edit: But yeah. It is sort of missing third parties. Like Just dance, Sonic, Skyrim and NBA2k.

Amazing. And we still haven't seen Retro's new game, whether a new IP like rumors suggest, or a franchise sequel. Exciting time to be a Nintendo fan!

I get that you're making a joke, but the big deal isn't these series coming to Switch, it's how early in its life they are releasing. For comparison, here is Wii U

3D Mario-1 year after launch

Mario Kart-1.5 years after launch

Smash Bros-2 years after launch

Splatoon-2.5 years after launch

Pokemon-no mainline title

Zelda-over 4 years after launch

The big titles were too few and far in between on Wii U to gain & maintain any strong momentum.

Switch getting an entry of all those big franchises in the first year should allow it to sell very strong right out of the gate.

Indeed. Remember all those people who flocked to the Super NES for Super Mario World?

If true, i'm going to have more Switch games at its launch than I currently have for two of my other consoles that I won't name.

Though I thought they confirmed no Zelda at launch.

It's not the launch lineup, just listing games that will be on Switch.

Anyway, a Zelda game( And I mean EPIC ! ), the next 3D Mario, a Mario RPG crossover, Mario Kart 8.5, Splatoon 1.5, Pikmin 4 and a Pokémon main-line game.

It's difficult to see how people could downplay something that looks like the most solid line-up a Nintendo console ever had in it's first year. And it's not even over yet !

This is main point, but for some reason some people think this all Switch is getting in 1st year. :D
