update us on how star wars is pls

As Conina said it is short (both of my play throughs lasted 18 minutes), and stunning to look at. The sense of scale is amazing and it plays really well. It's way better than the already pretty good COD Jackal VR mission and probably one of my favorite VR experiences thus far.

We NEED a Rogue Squadron Vr game.

Edit: I also discovered that you can turn off the games HUD and use the buttons in the cockpit to activate your abilities (boost, sheild, missles). Which is pretty impractical since you have to look at the button and press X, but god damn it's cool!

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I wanted to try the X-wing mission today (didn't get to it yesterday due to TLG) but I guess not. I had the mission downloaded and the app was up to date a week ago. I start it and now it needs another 9GB patch. I can't find the mission anywhere in the menus so I guess you need that huge patch for it to appear? Another attempt tomorrow, not gonna wait for 9GB to download.

Yeah it does require the patch. Once it's downloaded the VR mission will have it's own tab.

I just tried it too. Couldn't get that or the Call of Duty VR to start. Oh well. On the plus side, RE7 is twice as good in VR. Simply amazing.

Oh, and before anyone buys Surgeon Simulator VR...DON'T! It fucking sucks! The tracking isn't 1:1 and it makes it un-fucking-playable.

Luckily, the developer has said that they are going to change it. But wait for that update before buying.

Where did you find RE7 demo?

Edit: Nvm, found it by general search, wading through 30 resident evil entries and clicking through until a demo showed up. Store is a mess as usual. I doubt it will be done downloading before I continue with TLG tonight and then all bets are off lol. The SW patch isn't even a third done yet.

So...quick question about Rez Infinite...What the fuck does "trance vibration" mean?

It means you can turn on other controllers which you can place is various 'spots' and they will vibrate along with the music.
Basically to simulate this http://www.giantbomb.com/trance-vibrator/3000-6/

Just got my Pro in yesterday and tried a few VR games:

Robinson: The Journey: Heck-freakin'-yeah!  Now this is why I bought a Pro.  The game looks much better - mostly because the resolution is so much sharper now.  Looks incredible, the distance you can see in the pod area is wonderful, and the blurriness around the downed Esmerelda and pterodactyls flying around is mostly gone.

Eve Valkyrie: Was an update released today?  Played a game online, looked the same to me (and the game looks pretty good already).

Battlezone: Game looks a bit sharper overall and helps it from looking somewhat washed out and a bit ugly as it did before.

Here They Lie: I don't think this had a Pro patch, and I didn't even have to get past the menu to know that it looks exactly the same.  Bummer.  Still need to finish this game, really enjoying it despite the somewhat blurry resolution.

Rigs: I think this one looked better.  Just looking at my rig when the round is loading up it looked sharper I believe.  Map and draw distance / jaggies / resolution just looks improved overall, I think.  Was a great looking game already, and looks a bit better now.  Wish I could find more people playing this one online.

Hatsune Miku: I don't recall this one having a Pro patch, but I definitely noticed a difference.  The difference being, any ghosting that was happening on the original PS4 when Miku would run past you on stage and you would turn to follow her is now completely gone.  Yay.  It may also look just a TAD sharper?  Hard to tell.  Just happy about the ghosting.

Still need to try out PSVR Worlds but I need to get to bed.

Just tried the Star Wars VR dlc. Fucking incredible. My cousin and I were lifelong Star Wars fans. He passed away in March but if he could have played this, he'd be grinning from ear to ear. Perfect.
