I think it's because preorders for the XB1 version of KH3 have been really bad. KH1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 only going to the PS4 is going to exacerbate the situation because you need to play the previous games in order to understand the lead up to KH3. It's not like FFXV where it can be a standalone game.

Pretty cool but the difference with the PS3 version seems futile so I won't be replaying them. I wonder if saves can be transferred?

It's really obvious that SE is dropping the Xbox One, and it's been obvious for a while now.

They developed (or launched the development of) FF15, KH3 and FF Type 0 at the early beginning of the generation when a lot of people still tought (I don't know why) that the Xbox One would be the leader this time. Since then, we know that the Xbox One is far behind, and that Japanese games still don't sell on the system.

So, Dragon Quest 11, World of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 12 HD, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, and now this remix, all the Japanese SE games announced since the PS4 took an obvious lead, are PS4 only (or 3DS/Switch for DQ11). It will most likely stay that way, I don't see why they would try again to release games on the XBox One. It would need either money from MS or a big success for FF15 (or KH3) on the console to happen. That's also why I don't think FF7R will release on Xbox One (PC is a big possibility though).

YES!!!! Never played Kingdom Hearts and didn't want to play the newer entries before the originals! This is great for me.

Now I'll get this and do another huge marathon :)! (Alongside KH 2.8)

I too will join this triple dip club lol I have every KH game ever released as well xD

But I think I will actually wait....my spidey sense gets the feel that there will be a complete KH PS4 edition with all the games when KH3 comes out.  KH3 will be the last of the arc but not the series so seems fitting to have a huge edition with all the games.
