Forums - Sony Discussion - PSVR: Bad News Good News

Ok, this is criminal I my eyes and indicative of why GAME always verges on closing ... and that pricing. The good news is that there must be a demand for PSVR in order for them to get away with charging:

The PS5 Exists.

Criminal and not, it reminds me of my old days where I would go to a lan computer place to play counterstrike and had to pay 5 euro for a hour the only difference is the prices.

Don't hate the player hate the GAME

that's way too fucking meta

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Well i've seen two demo places in the netherlands and the time it takes to really set up, get everything going, be on the right distance and everything, before one guy is done 3 are waiting and eventually someone will get sick and start complaining, someone else will start using the move things and complain its not registering right etcetc

I would proberbly pay for the support I had personally at gamescon where there was someone helping you to make sure you get the things right, use it correctly and get a good feel for the VR headset, which I did get there.

I would deff not mind paying a little before investing 400 or for some people maybe more then that if they dont have a ps4

Ahhh, good. Because I always wondered how would it be economically feasible for stores to even demo virtual reality devices? They're so demanding of space and resources, like the device itself is very expensive and takes time to set it all up, and you must have store personell to moniter and help the customers.

Customers having to pay to try it out makes a lot of sense!!

Do you get that as a discount if you buy the headset after trying? If not, why not buy the thing and return it if you don't like it?

Price is kinda steep, yet if they made it cheap people would simply play in the store all day.

Not sure why anyone would find this practice as criminal?

Sounds like paying to play/demo the PSVR isn't something you are into. Which is perfectly okay. Inversely, I think it's perfectly okay for GAME (or any other retailer, business or enterprising individual) to rent the use of the PSVR to those who would be into it.

I personally wouldn't pay that to play the PSVR, but each to his/her own.
